ASTROLOGY: ILLUSTRATED MANUSCRIPT.:Illustrated Astrological Manuscript in Cyrillic, with numerous astrological charts, 14 handcut and illustrated volvelles, 18th-century, 149 x 94 mm, 297 leaves, written recto and verso, red and black ink on paper, printed folding table inserted in front (\”These are the print letters/These are the letters used in writting [sic]\” from The Russian Catechism, London: Meadows, 1725), numerous astrological charts and illustrations, including the volvelles (some appear to be lacking), modern green morocco stamped in black, custom chemise and slipcase.

This eighteenth-century astrological manuscript contains information on astrology including tables and zodiacal charcts, as well as palmistry. There are 14 working handcut volvelles throughout, while on numerous others the inner wheel is no longer present.
