《狩猎的狮子》是康定斯基 Wassily Kandinsky在1911年创作，不详画藝術作品，表现主义藝術作品，藝術作品尺寸9.4 x 13.6 cm，使用材质油彩和玻璃，目前该藝術作品由纽约古金汉博物馆Solomon保管。

作者康定斯基介绍

他是抽象画派和表现主义的创始者之一，不论是画或是着作，对二十世纪的艺术都有重大的影响。他旅居德国的那几年，也深深的影响到德国的表现主义画风。原本他在莫斯科大学学习法律和政治经济学，但在 1895 年看过法国印象派的藝術作品後，他决定要当个画家，他搬到德国慕尼克，并和 Anton Azb 及 Franz von Stuck 学习印象派和 art nouveau 的画风。刚开始康定斯基的藝術作品充满了幻想力，在 1900 – 10 年这段期间，他四处旅游，所到之处包括了巴黎，在这里他接触了新印象派的 Paul Gauguin 以及野兽派，此时，康定斯基开始对纯粹颜色的力量有了自己的概念，1910 年，康定斯基画了他第一张抽象风格的水彩画，并开始他重要的理论研究，随即在 1912 年於德国发表了「精神和艺术的关连 」 ( Concerning the Spiritual in Art ) 这本书，这本书剖析了心理作用和色彩的关系，并比照了绘画和音乐。康定斯基和德国画家马尔克 ( Franz Marc ) 一起成为表现主义团体「 Blaue Reiter ( Blue Rider )」的领导者，他们两人编辑了蓝骑士年历( Blue Rider almanac )，收集了他们各个时期的藝術作品，和马克也常在慕尼克及其它地方举办国际性的画展 。也因为有他们的推动，德国的表现主义得以尽情的发展。但是後来发生了第一次世界大战，康定斯基只好离开德国，返回俄国後，康定斯基继续推动艺术活动。1921 年，康定斯基回到了德国，在 1933 年纳粹的势力兴起之前，他都在 Bauhaus school 任教。最後，他搬到了巴黎郊区，直到 1944 年 12 月 13 日临死之前，他都住在那里。康定斯基一生画风复杂多变，从早期很写实的临摹，到印象派、野兽派、表现主义，一直到後来的几何学构成，到最後更发展出抒情抽象的神秘形式。这都在在显示了他透过不断的实验，为了是去寻求一个艺术家内在逻辑的完美。
