A FINE COPY OF THE LIMITED EDITION OF SYZK\’S BOOK OF ESTHER, number \”XLII\” of 175 copies, with the additional suite of illustrations. According to Szyk expert Irvin Ungar, \”Because [Szyk] understood what it meant for the few, the proud, to stand up to the many, he ultimately dedicated his life to fighting as a self-described \’soldier in art\’ against the might of the modern-day Hamans and Holoferneses who threatened Jewish survival\” (\”The Arts: Arthur Szyk and His Books of Esther,\” in: Hadassah Magazine, Purim 2010).
