Folio. Frontispiece portrait of Bakst after Picasso, 54 mounted color plates and 2 mounted color illustrations in text, captioned tissue guards. Quarter green morocco and cloth, with clipped portion of publisher\’s gilt-titled wrappers laid down to upper cover. LIMITED EDITION, number 424 of 500, signed by Bakst on the limitation page. Toning, removed bookplate and partial gift inscription on front flyleaf.
2. The Decorative Art of Leon Bakst. London: The Fine Art Society, 1913. Folio. Portrait frontispiece and 77 tipped-in plates (50 in color). Rebacked publisher\’s half vellum gilt over marbled boards, top edge gilt, custom cloth-covered clamshell box.
