8vo (163 x 105 mm). Woodcut printer\’s device on title, 18 woodcut maps in text. Modern calf antique. Lacking front blank, ownership inscription on title (dated 1595), repaired tear in A6, marginal staining and browning to first and last few leaves, scattered spotting throughout.
FIRST EDITION. Rosaccio was a physician and cartographer from Friuli who wrote journals of his travels and made often-reproduced woodcut and engraved maps. EDIT16 CNCE 34968; Sabin 73195.
