Folio (328 x 228 mm). Woodcut border on title page, woodcut full-page colophon with printer\’s device, profusely illustrated with woodcut illustrations in text, many full-page. Modern calf antique. Margins slightly trimmed, not affecting text, a few stains and smudges, light foxing.
SECOND EDITION, corrected from the original edition of 1537. An important Renaissance work on the five orders of architecture, being book 4 of 8 books written by Serlio, covering architecture and perspective.
